We have a customer that has a UK domain which is hosted with GODADDY. We need to do some DNS edits but the domain name is hosted by a third party who we can not make contact with and so cannot make the necessary changes.
We can make contact with Nominet to regain control of the domain name however I was wondering if GODADDY have any other ways of helping a domain registrant retake control of a domain name that is being managed for them in this way?

Hey there @itn,
Unfortunately, if the domain resides in another account, you'd need that account information for you or a GoDaddy employee to directly access it. There are strict rules about accessing accounts without verification. You can, however, have your client request a change update, which would lead to an investigation of actual ownership of the property and could give them control of the domain.
Other than that, it's relying on the legal system locally to sue for control of the domain or purchasing a new one.
