Background color not rendering in Updated View

When viewing my emails in the Updated View the background colors don't appear to be rendering. Because of this, (for example) if there is white text on a blue background and the background doesn't render, the email is white on white and cannot be read. Is anyone else having this issue, or know of a solution?
