When I attempt to extract a ZIP file, I get a message:
This program is blocked by group policy.
I had no problems extracting ZIP files two week ago. Something has been changed to my Group Policy that is preventing the (x86)\Parallels\Plesk\admin\bin\7z.exe to run.
I am logged in as the Plex Admin. I have a Plex Deluxe Hosting account.
Here is the complete message I get:
Unable to extract /httpdocs/Maps/Phones/app283.zip: Unable to start (C:\Windows\system32\cmd.exe /c C:\Program Files "(x86)\Parallels\Plesk\admin\bin\7z.exe t -tzip G:\PleskVhosts\davidapps.net\httpdocs\Maps\Phones\app283.zip "): (1260) This program is blocked by group policy. Please help!

Hi @camedionet @David_Das @BeyondGroup @AHTA - This is a somewhat known issue for customers that have been upgraded to Plesk Onyx. For more information, please see here.
I have the same problem 😞 and I hadn't any problems a few days ago, I have Deluxe as well.
AHTA,
Thanks for confirming this.
I had no issues extracting zip files for the last 4 years until this recent change to the Group Policy which is preventing me from running the exe file.
I can transfer files via FTP. However this is a very slow process. Uploading a ZIP file and then extracting it is 20 times faster specially when you have a large set of small files. This is why I need the Group Policy to be rolled back to the way it was before.
What do you think would be the best approach to contact a GoDaddy System Administrator to make this change?
Best regards,
David
I have also the same error encountering, As my resolution to this problem I use FileZilla to transfer all files for my website
