Hi,
I bought a domain from godaddy and it directs to a website hosted on EC2 instance on AWS. I requested an SSL certificate from the AWS certificate manager and I need to add the cname to the DNS records in godaddy.
I followed the Godaddy guide that said I have to add a new cname record but I can't because my "Manage DNS" page gives me this error:
We can't display your DNS information because your nameservers aren't managed by us.
I read somewhere that I need to login to godaddy with a third party thing from my hosting provider but I have no Idea how to accomplish that.
Thanks in advance.

So your domain is using the Amazon DNS system - you will need to add the TXT record there -

That message means that although your domain is registered at GoDaddy the DNS is managed else where and that is where you would need to go to add the TXT record. If you can provide your domain I can look at what it is showing as the DNS
