I have started taking the first steps to install WordPress on my website. However, I am not sure that I am using the correct Cpanel since I use Windows. When I click on the list of products I have, it shows in the "Web Hosting" category "Starter Linux Hosting with cPanel". I do not remember having purchased hosting for Linux but maybe I made a mistake while buying my items. Is this normal? Should I buy hosting for Windows?
Thank you for your help.

Hey there @Explorlingua,
It's a pretty common misconception that if you use a Windows computer you need a Windows hosting plan. NOTHING COULD BE FARTHER FROM THE TRUTH.
If you're using WordPress, it was designed to work most efficiently on a Linux platform. You won't face any conflicts with it working on your computer, Windows, Apple, or otherwise, because the actual software and hardware running your server isn't related to your local computer at all.
You have the right hosting.
