I have two forums now and one is really taking off. I would like the least expensive method to have them backed up in case of a crash. These are free forums and I don't make any money with them so the least expensive method is my first choice. Thanks!
Hi @Edd. Depending on how much data you have on the forums, you could consider using an AWS S3 bucket as a backup destination. If you installed the forums using Installatron, you can set the automatic backups using the S3 bucket as the destination. The storage itself is fairly inexpensive. Though, if you have a lot of data and backup frequently, the bandwidth costs can add up. There is a bit of a learning curve in setting it up, but it's not too hard to figure out if you familiarize your self with AWS. Hope that helps.
